Move  over  “Trading  Spaces”.............  Ottawa  has  its  own  hit!!

Allow  me  to  introduce  myself.    My  name  is  Nancy  O’Brien  and  I  own  a  small  redecorating/rearranging  business  in  the  Ottawa-Gatineau  area  named  Fresh  Interiors.  I  opened  the  business  about  two  years  ago  from  my  home  in  Chelsea,  QC  and  during  that  time  expanded  my  services  to  include  'home  staging'. 

Since  our  Grand  Opening  in  June  2004,  we  have  been  successful  in  transforming  a  number  of  homes  around  Ottawa-Gatineau  into  more  modern,  more  glamourous,  more  functional,  and  less  cluttered  spaces,  by  using  what  they  already  own  most  of  the  time,  in  order  to  keep  costs  low. 

Fresh  Interiors  is  based  upon  the  concept  of  simplicity.  A  whole  different  look  can  be  achieved  by  switching  pieces  from  one  room  to  another,  rehanging  artwork  or  using  different  accessories.  In  general,  we  'rearrange,  accessorize,  declutter,  shop,  and  provide  suggestions  for  refurnishing  and  painting  to  suit  clients’’  everchanging  needs'.

My  experience  rearranging  and  redesigning  my  own  home  after  moving  into  my  husband’s  former  ‘bachelor  pad’  initially  motivated  me  to  embark  upon  this  exciting,  creative  career.    Her  studies  through  the  NYC  campus  of  the  Sheffield  School  of  Interior  Design  provide  her  with  the  formal  and  technical  experience  to  rearrange  YOUR  home  with  ease  too.
